If your denture has just broken without being dropped, it is likely a result of a poor fit. Over time, your jawbone naturally undergoes a process called resorption (gradual shrinking), which slowly alters the shape of your gums. Because the rigid acrylic of your denture cannot adapt to these physical changes, the appliances loses its uniform support. This creates a poor fit, causing the denture to flex slightly every time you eat or speak. Eventually these localised micro stresses lead to microscopic fractures that causes the acrylic to snap completely.

Please do not try a DIY fix such with superglue (this can make it very difficult or impossible to be repaired.) Instead bring it straight to us where it can be repaired in as little as one hour.
